| Something very contradicting happened. Most of the people at work call me "xiao mei" because Im the youngest at work. And some of them, like Mr Tay Pi.ng Hui, even asked if Im a secondary school student on internship. (Speaking of Mr Tay, he's a reallyyy funny and nice guy!)
BUT. Do you know that Lea.ndra (contestant from Spore Idol) calls me "aunty"? Yes you heard it right. The first time she called me that, I thought I heard it wrong and just attended to her. The second time I heard her calling me that, I almost fainted. I actually thought I can easily pass off as her classmate but she's calling me aunty~ Thank you Lea.ndra.
There is this Cancer Charity Show this Sunday and I'll be involved. Was already helping Fa.nn Wong to dress up few days ago. The gown is so huge that we need at least 3 people to help her. There's Taiwan and HK artistes like Shawn Yue, Alan Tam, Z Chen, Su You Peng, Toro, Yan Xing Shu, K One and etc too. I will try to sneak a camera in to take pictures if possible but my colleague said we will be too busy for that. We'll see how.
My male friends are so jealous of me. Because I help female artistes like Fa.nn Wong, Fio.na Xie, Be.linda Lee and Sha.ron Au to dress up. Means I get to see them half naked. lol

Today is my off day and Im so excited! I got my first paycheck last week and havent gotten time to spend it. I need to spend money! Haha. You might think Im spendrift but no, I only get to spend money, like four times a month? Because I work six days a week and I go home straight after work. And I eat mostly food from the canteen for my lunch and dinner because of the long working hours.

| Yesterday my mum called me up to ask about my new boyfriend. And I go, "HUH!?!?! What boyfriend??"
Apparently my father found a picture sms (of me and a guy) in his handphone (which is my old hp). *roar in laughter*
He claimed that he heard the sms ringtone and after a few clicks he came across the picture sms. Oh yes, he's not tech-savvy. He needs my help to figure out how to sms and check call records.
Back to the story. Yes, so he found the picture sms and he happily called out to my mum to take a look. That was during work in the afternoon. And later at night, he asked my mum again whether she wants to see the guy again. This time he even asked my mum to put on her glasses for a closer look. *speechless*
Sigh. See how aging parents get over-excited on their children's love life? My mum and I couldnt stop laughing over the BoyfriendBooBoo.
And my mum even commented that he is not goodlooking (!) My poor friend! Hmm I shall not tell him what my mum said about him. Haha

| After six days of work, I felt so drained.
I was just dragging my feet at work today. While I was at the warehouse today- alone- I felt so miserable that I want to go home. Or just hide myself among all the traditional chinese costumes around me. Let me tell you, the place is eerie, with all the elaborate chinese costumes meant for horror shows at the end corner of the warehouse. I felt so lonely, drained and miserable.
So, after work today, I took a cab down town and shopped! I need to reward myself. I bought 2 tops, a skirt, a pair of earrings, 4 pairs of socks and some accessories. Hee. In fact I was so lazy to try them on that I just grabbed and go. I wanted to buy shoes also but the shops were too crowded.
And I bumped into S in the train! It was so unexpected and I was really thrilled.
After shopping and seeing S, I am now back to normal. Heheh. No more feeling sad and stressed!
Now back to my routine- work, sleep, eat, work and work and work.
Sigh, I may appear as a tough cookie to some but Im really a mashmallow inside...lol

| Brief summary after three days of work-
People that I met: Chen Liping, Pierre Png, Irene Ang (she said a big Hi to me but I was too stunned to reply), Sharon Au (very friendly), Felicia Chin, Diana Ser, Glenda Chong, Timothy Go (very cute!), Gurmit Singh (said I look feminine. lol), Belinda Lee, news presenters like Qi Qi, Kui Nan and some whom I cant remember the name. And also the SI contestants as well as rejects.
What I did: - sorted out racks and racks and racks of clothes - picked ties for the news presenter - ironed clothes for Michelle Chong, Timothy Go, Irene Ang, Sharon Au and etc - issued clothes and props to the cast of True Files - altered the length of pants for some of the actors - did some sewing - folded ALL the singlets in the storeroom (according to designs. read: three-button tee, round-neck tee and singlet) - arranged shoes accoring to sizes and types - sent clothes to laundry - sorted out the sponsors' clothes (whatever brands you can think of!) - tried to memorise the codes for different type of clothes (L/S shirt, S/S shirt, children chinese costumes, sarong, 70s female clothes, 80s male clothes, police uniforms, hats, berets, caps, and thousands more) - sorted out clothes for SI's contestants - assisted the stylist on what Gurmit should wear for SI - chased after K1 kids who came in for the filming of SI rejects yesterday
Work is so tiring. Hours had been very irregular (started work at 7am on Tues and 10am yesterday). Trust me, I never like my bed so much! Now I can just lie on my bed for hours. My feet hurts from all the running around. My back pain because I hardly get to sit and rest. And I almost faint when they showed me the warehouse. Yes, no kidding. There's like 80,000 pieces of clothing and still counting. Excluding the clothes in my wardrobe department for variety programme and chinese drama at the other end.
Currently Im just assisting my colleagues and learn the rope. I dont have any shows under my belt yet. I am assisting my seniors for the SI, Maid To Order, News, True Files, National Cancer Show (in Oct) and maybe, another charity event on 26th Dec (no Christmas for me!)
And I just love the head of designer, L. He reminds me of my elder brother. Only friendlier and nicer. lol He's not goodlooking but very stylish and funny! He commented that I look 'wild' because of my hair and dressing. But when he realised that I took it seriously, he apologised saying that he meant it as compliment and I should be flattered. He said I can carry off the style and that I look good! Kekeke.
They said I am the new babe in the wardrobe department. lol. Not because I am pretty ok...sigh. Just because most of the wardrobe officers are either in their 30s or married with kids. I am the youngest there. Already they gave me nicknames like 'xiao mei mei' and 'little girl'. L even tried to be funny by calling me 'gay' instead of 'rae'!
Working night shift today. Which means I can only knock off after the LIVE telecast of SI-Wildcards.
Does it matter? No. Because I love my job!
